Fogal Meat Market Deli and Cafe @ Plaza Damas

Sometime last week when i was stranded in HP towers, i couldnt help myself but smsing and msning every blogger/flogger for lunch after i suffered through 1 round of eating myself and bringing back the memories of those days i had with San Francisco .. After reading Meena aka Lyrical Lemongrass visit to Mizu which was a stone throw away in Bangsar, i msned her hoping to enter her club that worships sashimi and all forms of Japanese cuisine but she was stuck in a discussion..Tankiasu couldnt be contacted through phone but strangely enough he found time to comment on my blog..Char Siu Bao was away at client's and Xiu Long Bao sounded very broke.. so last but certainly not least i found Precious Pea and we settled on visiting Fogal Meat Market after i read about it at Nigel KampungKayell..

Situated on the same row as Yoga Zone in Plaza Damas, make note it is not inside the shopping complex but infact hides among the rows of shoplots.. it reminded me of Jarrod and Rawlins with the pick your meat and cook for me style.. The place gave me a supermarket feeling as if i was in the meat section in Jusco, Isetan or in Australia.. It was more humble then Jarrod and had a huge range of lamb, pork and beef cuts.. Their menu was also plentiful and in the end the pork chops came calling me from the display and after some initial confusion, instead of ordering from the display, i ordered in a form of a set with 2 side dishes from the menu..Precious Pea with her lamb cravings supposedly initiated by Max! ordered the lamb burger..

While waiting for the food to be freshly grilled, we started to talk about food..naturally...and before you know it the food came...

Grilled Pork Loin although it looked like a cutlet in the display served with Mash Potatoes and Green Salad..RM22 .. the meat was grilled with abit too much salt but it was very flavourful until it squired juice all over my shirt.. ask Precious Pea for the testimony.. quite value for money..

Her lamb burger served with french fries and coleslaw for RM13.. from the bite i had, the meat was good!

Overall it was a very good solid score 8 out of 10 lunch.. and thanks so much of Precious Pea for willing to sneak out of her 1 hour allowance for lunch!..
