The weather recently has been killing me..putting me in sleep mode..eventhough i am sweating in an aircon room..i cant go out because of my books..but my books are causing me to sleep..sigh but this is not what i want to talk about tonite..i know its sunday nites..and everyone is busy thinking of what to do on Monday to avoid the blues..i got suggestion..read my blog ok hahaha...okok back to the main topic..grilled lamb..I am pretty sure its cao cao..but it could be yao yao..but you get the picture..exactly where is this some one is asking me..go straight down heading old klang road from federal highway..aka mid valley there la..EDIT: the second traffic light before pearl point turn left..then do a u turn and its on your left...only at nite times..supper only..yummm
On another note..my sexy red camera failed on me..the screen works..but i got a feeling the camera lense died as all the screen shows is a blank screen..although the camera options are showing..bought it back to Sony..paying them RM20 for a diagnostic..fingers crossed...now this sets me thinking..DSLR? or a tiny digicam that i can finally put in my pocket wherever i eat?or better still a brand new Sony K810i, a 3.2 megapixel camera phone? Suggestions please?..Model and prices and where to buy also yeah?

Sorry to hear abt yr nifty red camera woes. I guess DSLR is not practical unless you don't mind lugging it all over the place. Tiny camera I guess? If you want to see the quality of the handphone pixs, I think eatinout or pasankia uses an older sony ericsson model. For me, I still prefer camera vs handphone.
joe,
I want the chee cheong fun! With lots of sweet sauce please..:P
For the camera, I think you better get a camera, doesn't matter if it's a DSLR or a tiny digicam, rather than a camera phone. The quality of a camera phone is not as good as digicam. Unless, you don't mind the quality.
you know lamb is my favourite meat of all! only it stinks my finger for the longest time after that...
what is that green dipping sauce? is this like a middle east restaurant? no that cant be, coz it got chee cheung fan...gosh looks so good, with the har kou!!!
food certainly looks good, man. I shall check out this place...I think I have an idea where it is.
Camera? Depends how thickskinned you are oso. If you're not shy, by all means lug that DSLR to your favourite stalls and fine dining outlets and shoot away. :-)
i know..actually i no skin 1 ar haha cant imagine taking out dslr snapping fotos also but just itchy to take foto takin to a new level..i m leaning on gettin the new sony t100 the tiny slim 1..but we shall see in a week..actually majority of my fotos r snapped wif my fone..n yes i do realise the diff in quality
green = mint sauce..n its not har koh..it just good old tim cheung..
A mini camera for me will do. Too shy & lazy to lug ard the bigshot. As for killa shots, it does depend on skills which I'm still trying to learn.
TQ for this review. Now I can opt for something different late at nite (other than roti canai).
Oh, m not able to post lately - home pc (with pix stored in it) is in ICU. Boo-hoo-hoo.
da weather is awful :( soooooo hot! oooo..... looks yummy! no signboard? name of this stall/rest?
hope it gets well soon!
err its just an outside road stall..cao cao is the name..has a bus station stop also..really dunno how to describe d haha..
I dunno why, recently hooked on lambs. Anywhere i go also lamb, lamb and lamb. And you post about your yummy lamb. So now, where do i find lamb for lunch leh??? U are so cruel!
i've been there before... so so only ler this place. but the fried 'tong fun' at the store a lil up the hill is really worth a try.
hahah faster sing ba ba black sheep..instead of askin for wool..ask for ur lamb!
die la..means my taste bud something wrong ar?..haha
guess this is the season for cameras to break down? mine konked 2 days ago :(. just sent for diagnostic too. i'll still opt for a camera though (rather than a cam phone), if i have to buy a new one..
I had the same prob wiv my old canon camera, sent bck to the service centre n they gave me a hi tech camera for free in return! Canon's after sale service is quite gud i think.
sigh..i guess i m not alone eh?? maybe we can buy cameras at the same time n shop..ask for more discounts!
well... i am sure if i go eat now... it will taste good no matter what... since so long off meat.
I think that camera phone is not as good as normal digital camera... especially when it comes to food "pornography"! *giggles*
Camera phone is good for quick shot or "hidden" shot la :P
Oh, by the way, good luck in your exam!
muahaha..yeah wor..finally meat time eh?..
true true..i think i shall get that tiny 1..now let me see if i can get any sort of sponsorship from my minister of finance..
thanks thanks!
I know what you mean about taking photography to a new level. I'm also itching to get a DSLR, but am worried about the size of that thing! The diff in quality is amazing tho..was playing with my colleague's Canon EOS 1-D Mark III....took some food shots....so cool man!
Hey dude, the lamb looks awesome! we've gotta go to this place soon. Though its been a while since i've had red meat, i think i'll break fast and indulge. We should go some day after work.
I've been snapping pictures with a DSLR for the past 2 weeks. Gosh so many eyes were on me. But believe it or not, I think I did get better service from the eateries with the pro-looking DSLR. In fact, one of the stall owner asked me whether I'm a journalist from newspaper. :P
Anyway, if you are going for ultracompact camera and money is not a big prob, then by all means go for Sony's T-100. Fantastic quality photos for a slim camera like it. ;-)
That place is called Jalan Kuchai Lama.
I guess we normally don't give directions as "the second traffic light before pearl point turn left..." BEFORE? You mean we're supposed to reach the landmark and reverse back???
Anyways...:) thanks for the post.
