Recently, i have been stressed in my studies and involved in excessive socialising with some of my old buddies from high school..so the conclusion is..visiting the gym was out of the subject. So what once was a routine to me, became a luxury for me as i could bearly find time, prefering it over getting back home earlier and studying my ass off, or heading to my friend's place for a round of poker. So in a little over 3 weeks, i have visited the gym no more then 3 times, which is a dismal record. My friends have commented how come i look fatter..my face is chubbier..so what the hell, i went to the gym yesterday..and this thought striked upon me..Just only 3 weeks, and during the RPM session (biking on a stationery bicycle with different levels of "shit i cant remember that word which means difficulty, restriction and etc"..i realised that i was nowhere as fit..instead of lasting the whole sesion, i felt like puking half way and probably pass out..then i ran on the treadmill, i could barely last the 5 minute mark. My biceps hurt and i couldnt straighten my arms for days..my chest hurts..my legs hurt..its as if i just had my first gym session of my life...
So moral of the story is..dont take life for granted..so what if we eat all the nice food in Malaysia or best in the world..if you dont exercise before its too late, imagine if you havent broke a sweat in years or havent climbed the stairs in months..imagine the pain you will go through if i faced so much humiliation in just 3 weeks..
Copied this picture of somewhere..
So lesson learnt..i shall continue to eat good food but i shall exercise..to aim for at least a flat hill instead of Mt Everest as a stomach..The End..

stomach is the toughest place to train la. my friend who dont have a mountain there trained for 1 year before his 4 packs started appearing...
stumbled here from masak masak's blog. i love the "cravings of a pregnant man" description, coz i can really identify with that!!!
oh, and the word you're looking for, in RPM, is resistance.
